Anna Katharina Aichroth, anthropologist M.A. (ritual and performance studies) and performance artist.
She was raised in Ravensburg, studied and travelled the world. Coming back to Ravensburg she is a freelance anthropologist and artist:
Centered in afro-brazilian art and ritual Capoeira Angola (ECAAM, Mestre China) she is not identifying herself with one media, but connecting music (singing, percussion as berimbau, pandeiro), dance and theatre. By actually teaching and studying Capoeira, acting solo (as at Month of Performance, Berlin 2014) being part of an international performance duo (with Hila gross, Tel Aviv) and music trio (3naRua – Electro Brasil Beat) she is pushing international and transdiciplinary boundaries further. Her main topics are culture and ritual, freedom and fight – rooted in spiritual essence, expressing in street art and momentaneous happenings.
